Ex-Wolves keeper takes the reins again at Leicester

Mike Stowell has been appointed caretaker manager at Leicester City for a fifth time. The 53-year-old Foxes goalkeeping coach and first-team coach has been temporarily promoted again, this time with fellow first-team coach Adam Sadler, following the sacking of Claude Puel. Puel, 57, who was in charge for 16 months, was dismissed after Saturday’s 4-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace which left Leicester 12th in the Premier League. Neutrals side with Wolves as Bournemouth players slammed

Neutral fans have criticised Bournemouth after the Cherries’ two controversial penalties in the 1-1 draw against Wolves. Referee Roger East awarded Eddie Howe’s side two spot kicks, first when Josh King fell following the slightest marginal contact from Joao Moutinho, then when Ryan Fraser fell outside of the box. King scored the first one to put Bournemouth ahead but missed the second.
